🤠 A behind-the-scenes look at one of Lee County’s biggest events!

This morning, Lee County CEO students had the opportunity to visit Rodeo Park in Fort Madison and meet with Tri-State Rodeo Chairman Bobby Holtkamp as preparations are underway for next week’s Tri-State Rodeo!

Bobby gave our students a behind-the-scenes look at just how much planning, organization, teamwork, and coordination goes into putting on an event of this size. From preparing the grounds and working with vendors and volunteers to managing logistics and creating an experience that brings thousands of people into our community, there is so much happening long before the gates ever open.

It was a great opportunity for our students to see entrepreneurship, leadership, event management, and community involvement in action — right here in Lee County.

A huge thank you to Bobby for taking time during an incredibly busy week to show our students around, answer their questions, and share some of the ins and outs of making the Tri-State Rodeo happen each year.
