Today, we toured Consolidated Grain and Barge, where Mike Smith, Gabe McVaigh, and Alex Benton shared insights into their daily operations. CGB serves as a middleman for farmers, helping them secure the best possible price for their grain. Their process includes receiving trucks, testing grain quality, weighing loads, and storing grain based on quality until market conditions are favorable.
