Last week was packed full of learning, inspiration, and hands-on experiences for our Seneca CEO crew!

From local college opportunities at Terra State with board member Ted Willman, to restaurant insights at Xcaret with Seneca CEO alum Nohema Galvan, coffee talk with Dionna Brennaman of Java’s Enchanted Bean, and business lessons (plus axe throwing! ) at In The Axe with Brent Hoerig — our students made the most of every morning!

A few BIG takeaways from the week:

🎓 Start where you are, recognize the possibilities around you, and never underestimate - small things often lead to BIG opportunities.

🌮 Put your customers first, know your audience, work hard, and remember that every moving piece matters when running a successful business.

☕ Follow your passion, recognize the needs in your community, and start small — you can always grow from there!

🪓 Be creative, stand out from the competition, and learn to adapt through the ups and downs of business.

Beyond the business lessons, we were reminded to appreciate the little things, stay optimistic, treat others with kindness, and keep pushing forward even when the path isn’t perfectly planned.

A huge THANK YOU to Ted, Nohema, Dionna, and Brent for sharing your time, experience, and wisdom with us. We’re grateful for a community that continues to invest in the next generation! 🧡🖤
