It’s been a busy weekend of graduations, and we wrapped it up Sunday night with seven of our students graduating from Mascoutah High School.

Our first graduation spotlight from Mascoutah High School is Timothy James.

Timothy will be attending the University of Illinois this fall to study graphic design.

One thing I appreciated about Timothy this year was his willingness to figure things out as he went. He truly embraced the process of building a business from the ground up.

“The most impactful CEO experience I had this year was creating my business from scratch. From finances to learning how to sew, it took a lot of hard work but the payoff has been worth it.”

CEO also pushed Timothy to learn how to balance a packed schedule while continuing to move forward even when things got difficult.

“Balancing school work, a job and CEO at the same time has certainly been a challenge, but it has taught me the importance of time management and perseverance.”

As Timothy reflected on the year, one lesson stood out most to him:

“I learned to always plan ahead. Not only does it lessen the chance of failure, it also increases my confidence significantly when I have a plan moving forward.”

We are proud of you, Timothy, and excited to watch what comes next.
