Shawn Finstrom shared his entrepreneurial journey with our students, proving that an entrepreneurial mindset can start at a very young age. From dreaming big in grade school to now leading a company that designs, fabricates, and installs industrial piping systems across the United States, Shawn’s story is a true example of what hard work, innovation, and perseverance can accomplish.

Students had the chance to learn how FINCO has grown through custom piping system installations, fabrication, and innovative solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently nationwide. Shawn also shared how creativity, problem solving, and relationships continue to drive the success of the company today. FINCO’s work now reaches far beyond West Central Minnesota, showing our students that businesses started in small communities can make a national impact.
