This year in Belleville CEO has significantly changed the way I see myself and my abilities. At the beginning of the program, I viewed myself as someone who was naturally reserved and unlikely to speak up. While I still find public speaking challenging at times, I have grown more comfortable sharing my ideas in large groups and expressing my opinions. I have come to understand that my perspective holds value, and that confidence develops through consistent effort and willingness to be heard. One of the most meaningful areas of growth for me has been in communication. These skills are essential not only in business settings but also in everyday life. Through this experience, I have strengthened my ability to present myself clearly and confidently, far beyond what I originally expected. I now recognize the importance of how I carry myself and the impact it has on others.
At the start of the program, I also had a misunderstanding of entrepreneurship. I
believed it required stretching the truth in order to gain support or persuade others. Over time, I have learned that true success comes from presenting an authentic version of oneself in the best possible light. It is not about being dishonest, but about recognizing personal strengths and communicating them effectively. Although I do not plan to pursue a career specifically in entrepreneurship or business, this program has had a lasting positive influence on my future. I will carry forward the leadership, communication, and self-confidence that I have developed into any path I choose. My advice to future participants is to approach the program with an open mind. You may believe you understand your personality or limits, but growth occurs when you step outside of your comfort zone. This experience has shown me that personal development is possible with
effort, and that being authentic is one of the most valuable qualities a person can offer.
