On the first Friday of Belleville CEO, both teams met in Laderman Park for team bonding exercises, led by Lynn Clapp and Jim Holdener, a meaningful end cap to the week. As Session One student Ava Gasawski put it, on "Friday, we put these ideals into action and expanded on our own interpersonal relationships through conversation, reflection, collaborative ideas, and teamwork during our team building activity with Lynn and Jim from Vertical Performance. 'Connection. Productivity. Us.' These core values were the foundation of our activities on Friday, and, I believe, will be at the center of everything we do moving forward at CEO. I was able to grow a deeper sense of community, communication, trust, connectivity and teamwork. Finishing out week 1, I feel that I not only have a better understanding of the meaning of connection and teamwork, but also feel more comfortable and confident knowing that I have a community and group of people that share the same goals and want to see me succeed, to fall back on and lift me up."
