Guest Speaker: Maribeth Black

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Maribeth Black to Johnson County CEO. Maribeth owns and operates several businesses in Vienna, including a laundromat, storage units, apartment rentals, and a roll-off dumpster service.

In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Maribeth serves at a local correctional facility where she teaches financial literacy and business courses—equipping others with practical skills to build a stronger future.

Maribeth shared valuable insight with our students on a variety of essential business topics, including business insurance, taxes, LLC registration, and the realities of owning and operating multiple ventures. Her transparency and experience provided students with a real-world perspective on both the responsibilities and rewards of entrepreneurship.
