Class day!
This morning, students engaged in a powerful learning activity inspired by Doug Villhard, a professor at Washington University in St. Louis, titled “Feedback is a Gift.”
Students were challenged to design a wallet, discuss their prototype with a partner, exchange constructive feedback, redesign an improved version, and ultimately “sell” the final product to their partner. This hands-on exercise reinforced an essential entrepreneurial principle: the best way to refine a product or service is through meaningful customer conversations and continuous improvement.
Experiences like this help our students understand that feedback is not criticism — it is an opportunity for growth and innovation.
