Job Title: Social Media and Marketing Specialist

Job Title Summary:

The Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship (MIE) is looking for a creative and organized Social Media & Marketing Specialist to help share our story and expand our reach. You’ll start by creating and managing engaging social media content — and grow into larger marketing projects that highlight the national impact of our CEO program

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage MIE’s Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts
  • Create and schedule posts using Canva and Meta Scheduler
  • Share stories of students, alumni, and communities
  • Edit and post short videos on Vimeo, YouTube, and social media
  • Design and send email campaigns for donors and partners
  • Support traditional marketing projects like mailers or event promotions
  • Help shape and track MIE’s overall marketing strategy

You will excel in this role if you...

  • Have at least 3 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or a related role
  • Enjoy storytelling and creating engaging content
  • Are organized, reliable, and collaborative
  • Want to be part of a mission that inspires young entrepreneurs
