I am a senior at RCHS. I participate in three sports: golf, basketball, and baseball. In my free time, I enjoy fishing and mowing lawns during the summer. This helps me relax, stay productive, and earn a little money. I have participated in 4-H for four years. I show cows and have plans to show chickens. While I have not decided on a college major, I am interested in exploring different career paths and learning more about the business world. I believe the CEO program helps guide me in the right direction by giving me hands-on experiences and the chance to learn from local business leaders. What excites me most about joining the program is the opportunity to visit local businesses and learn how they operate. I hope this program prepares me for my future and the route I take later in life
About My Business
Bat Mago is owned and operated by 2026 Richland County CEO Entrepreneur, Brody Thomas. Bat Mago was created from a strong passion for baseball and a family connection to the game through wood bats. The business began when Brody Thomas’s dad sold wood bats, which inspired Brody to take the idea a step further and make it his own. Wanting to add a personal and creative touch, Brody Thomas began customizing bats by coloring and designing them, allowing each bat to be unique and stand out from traditional designs. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a passion for combining quality craftsmanship with creativity and self-expression. Bat Mago focuses on producing personalized wood bats that not only look great but also maintain high performance and durability. The goal of Bat Mago is to give players a bat that represents their personality while still performing at a high level on and off the field.
