About Me
Throughout high school, I have been a member of the cross country team, the winter swim team, the track team, and a cheerleader. Participating in these sports brings me an indescribable amount of joy and connections with friends and coaches that I will never lose. I also participate in clubs such as the Interact Club and the Youth Alive for Christ Club. I serve as an Athletic Ambassador, and I am a member of the Richland County Hilltoppers 4-H Club. Through these clubs, I find leadership and a longing to serve my community. I have found that being in these clubs encourages my growth as an individual. I work during the summer as a certified lifeguard at the Musgrove Aquatic Center in Olney. I am also a member of the Olney Tigersharks summer swim program. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, working in my garden, and training for my athletic seasons. I am very excited for this opportunity to be a member of the CEO class of 2026. Throughout this program, I hope to experience what it is like to build a small business and to also build on my leadership skills. After high school, I plan to further my education at a four-year university and major in Speech Language Pathology. I am truly excited to see where the CEO program leads me and to meet new faces in my community.
About My Business
Karlee’s Kreations is owned and operated by 2026 Richland County CEO Entrepreneur, Karlee Piercefield. Karlee’s Kreations is a homemade baking business focused on providing fresh, comforting treats made from scratch. Customers can choose from warm, gooey cinnamon rolls, each topped with their choice of flavored icing, or three delicious types of bread, with the option to bundle them together in a convenient 3-in-1 pack. Every item is crafted with care to bring a little sweetness and warmth to any occasion. This business concept was created to bring comforting, warm, tasty treats my community can enjoy. The idea grew from a passion of hers to help provide affordable, high-quality goods to residents in her community. She has always had a passion for baking, and bringing the goods that brought people in her life joy, made her want to give that joy right back. One of the recipes she will use for the rolls, is a recipe she has been baking with for almost ten years. Following along those lines, some of the recipes she will use when baking her breads, are recipes her grandmother handed down to her before she passed away. Karlee’s cinnamon rolls and specialty cinnamon rolls are priced at $15 for a 6-pack. Her breads, which are 9x5 inches, are priced at $9.
