We had an incredible business visit to Concordance Health Care Solutions! πŸ₯πŸ“¦

As a nationwide company that began in 1990, Concordance has grown tremendously, including a major 2016 merger with two other companies to maximize revenue and expand their impact on the healthcare supply industry. During our visit, we had the opportunity to hear directly from the CEO, HR Director, and Operations Manager about what it takes to keep such a large operation running smoothly.

One of the most memorable descriptions of the business was that they are β€œlike the Amazon for the healthcare industry,” supplying products for all types of caretaking facilities across the country. Their day to day work is all about low margin, high volume operations, which requires efficiency, precision, and strong teamwork.

We also learned how their internally developed software, Surgence, helps track the flow of materials and creates a universal language for products within the company. This is a key factor that sets them apart from competitors.

Beyond the logistics, what stood out the most was their positive company culture and commitment to innovation. Thank you, Concordance, for an informative and inspiring experience!
